Je suis doctorante au département d’histoire et à l’Institut d’Etudes françaises de l’Université de New York (NYU). Mes recherches portent sur la France au vingtième siècle, la Deuxième Guerre mondiale et la reconstruction, les réfugiés, les études de genre et de sexualité, ainsi que la mémoire. Ma thèse, intitulée « Defining Home: Expulsions in France and Claims to Belonging, 1939-1950 » retrace les parcours des familles expulsées de l’Alsace et de la Moselle par les autorités allemandes en 1940. I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of History and Institute of French Studies at New York University (NYU). My research interests include twentieth-century France, the Second World War and its aftermath, population displacement and refugees, gender and sexuality, and memory studies. My dissertation, entitled, “Defining Home: Expulsions in France and Claims to Belonging, 1939-1950,” tells the stories of families expelled from Alsace and Lorraine by German authorities in 1940. Before joining NYU, I was a high school French teacher. Download CV in English
